Canon VIXIA HF100 Camcorder Review
I have a long history of buying Canon camcorders, so when my current camcorder became too dated to bother with, I had no second thoughts about ordering the Canon VIXIA HF100 that day.
A member of my city’s topless volleyball club, I am often tasked with recording the games for the future enjoyment of the club’s members and so the participants can improve their game. I’ve never recorded in AVCHD before, but this camera supports it, so I do now. The difference is unbelievable! I can see detail with the VIXIA I could never capture with my old digital camcorder. And because it uses flash memory, I can easily load the video onto my computer and upload it to the web.

One thing I didn’t know about this camcorder before I bought it is that It can also take pictures. It only has 3.3 megapixels for the camera, but that’s not bad for a camcorder. It also has an LCD and image stabilization. When my mates saw my new Canon camcorder, they were duly impressed. It’s available at any retail outlet, but I got mine at Amazon because the price is quite a bit lower there and there are no tax or shipping charges.
