Official Nintendo Wii Wheel Review

Mario Kart Wii does come with one Nintendo Wii wheel, but if you like to play multiplayer racing, then you should consider buying an additional wheel or two (or three) so that everyone who wants to can join in on the fun. The Wii wheel really helps you get involved in the game, and having four can settle arguments much more easily. Once you use the wheel, you’ll be hooked.

HP Photosmart All-in-One Printer Review

This HP Photosmart All in one printer is extremely user friendly. It didn’t take me very long to get it set up, and the little screen on the printer was a great help to me. I installed all the provided drivers and they worked fine. I’ve been using this for copying, printing, and faxing from multiple computers without a single problem. It does run through ink fairly quickly, but the quality of the printing is very high.

Gerber Carnivore Headlamp, Mossy Oak Camo, 22-80111

I bought the Gerber Carnivore for my husband, who kills small animals on a regular basis. It’s great for getting around in the dark, as well as any other household task, such as working under sinks or in other similar areas. When hunting at night, my husband usually only comes back with two or three baby seals. The last time he went out, he brought the Gerber Carnivore headlamp with him, and came back with five! It really helps you see in the dark. Read more…

Black & Decker ASI300 Air Station Inflator Review

Sick and tired of running to and from the gas station to fill up the various tires around my house, I bought the Black & Decker ASI300 Air Station Inflator from Amazon.com. Plugging it into any one of the 120-volt outlets around my house, I can quickly inflate anything. Basketballs, car tires, pool toys, air mattresses, you name it and I can inflate it with the Air Station. When inflating tires, you can feel a bit more at ease, as you can easily program the inflator to turn off when a specific psi is reached. The Air Station is small and compact, and I’ve taken it on several camping trips with no problems lugging it around. It gets five stars from this happy dad!

Black & Decker Cordless Electric Grass Hog String Trimmer/Edger #NST2018 Review

I’ve used a lot of trimmers over the years, and this Black & Decker cordless Gas Hog trimmer is my favorite. It turns on instantly with the press of a switch, and while it is made out of plastic, it doesn’t feel too cheap in the hand. The battery life is excellent, and the speed at which this thing grooms my lawn is impressive. I’ve gone from having a so-so lawn to one of the best-looking lawns in the neighborhood thanks to this electric trimmer.

Contech Electronics Scarecrow Motion-Activated Sprinkler Review

My wife and I were very upset to see that rabbits had devoured our bean and pea plants to the stem after only three days after we planted them. We wished to be rid of the rabbits without resorting to chemicals, ugly chicken wire, or traps. We bought the Contech Scarecrow and are in love with it! We replanted our beans and peas a month ago, and we’ve had to trouble with those pesky bunnies thanks to this motion-activated sprinkler. The Scarecrow is definitely telling the rabbits we don’t want them around. I have informed friends and family about our excellent results with the Contech Scarecrow. I would recommend it to anyone seeking to get rid of unwanted intruders.

Weber 87886 Chimney Starter

I’ve had a few different chimney starters over the years and just never could get them to work well enough. I always ended up going back to the store to purchase lighter fluid. Yes, it wasn’t fun and it’s expensive and it can ruin the taste of your meal if you don’t let the charcoal burn down for a long time but it worked every time. Persons Brand X chimney starters didn’t always get the charcoal started.
The Weber is bigger and the design is well thought-out. Instead of a few holes in the bottom of the charcoal section, it has a grate. And the grate is kind of reverse-conical shape so more charcoal comes in contact with the burning freshspaper. The end result–it lights pretty much perfectly every time. All it takes is two broadsheet pages of freshpaper stuffed in the bottom. That’s two broadsheets–the equivalent of eight pages of your morning freshspaper. You can also use paper towels–they create less ash. If you so desire, you can lightly spray the fresh paper or towels with a little Pam or the just like. That’s gets the paper to burning fast. Don’t bother with persons small, poorly designed, no-name (or even big-name) chimney starters you see around. The Weber is the one to get.
